英文中有大量习语含有动物形象 ,他们和英语民族的经济生活、地理环境、心理状态、历史文化和对社会实践的观察等密切相连。这些动物习语不仅言简意赅 ,表达简洁洗炼 ,而且形象生动。动物习语结构独特 ,在翻译时要根据具体的情况和语境进行处理

Abstract: In English, there are many idioms with the animal images, which are closely connected with the economic life,geographical circumstances, psychological status, historical backgrounds and social practice of the English-speaking countries. These animal idioms are simple in forms and interesting in images, with very specific structures and different translation methods.
